When I try to print my pdf documents, the printing looks like a
mixture of arabic, german, etc. What can I do to get it print
in english. If there is a title, it remains in english. All
other words are garbled. Numbers are okay. Please help!

Thank you

Have you checked the fonts of the PDF file? It is likely that you have used a font that can not be embedded and Acrobat has used what it feels is the closet equivalent.

Thank you! I have no idea how to change fonts if that is the problem. I ended up printing it as an image and it worked fine. I then turned the printer off for a few minutes and printed again and it came out fine. Maybe that did it!!

If the graphic print did it, you may have an HP printer. There have been reported problems with the HP drivers. Also, you may have to download softfonts to the printer to get the non-graphic mode to work. Glad that the graphic print worked for you. It is always a good idea to come back and report on what worked for othrs.

Thank you for the help. Yes, I do have an HP printer. I will make sure that I turn my printer on and off before I print a pdf file in the future too.
