I am looking at several pdfs that have been sent to me where I need to
edit the images for one reason or another, however the application (I
think it was Nuance PDF Create 5 or so) the person who created the
fiels used, took all the images and sliced them. They appear finme in
the document, however to edit the image, I have to edit each slice -
and the final image doesn't always look that hot since the graphics
editor (photoshop in this case) is only seeing each slice and not the
image as a whole.

Is there an easy way to re-group the slices within Acrobat before
editing? Or just as good, I suppose, does anyone know how to turn off
the image slicing within Nuance PDF Create?

You need the original document and/or the graphics that were used to create the PDF not
some PDF manipulation software.
