I am having the same problem as Beth in a 300+ page document (built from several Word docs). Can someone PLEASE explain why this is happening?! I tried to delete the offending page, replace it, everything, and nothing works! I have been able to manipulate surrounding pages with no problem. I am not a code-write or any kind of super-user (more a stupid-user) so please explain in plain English what can be done about this. Do I have to rebuild this whole document because of some glitch? I HATE this application!

Try printing using the "Adobe PDF" option. Save to another filename.

The only drawback is that comments and bookmarks are not crossed over to the new file. But at least you can start adding and manipulating pages again.

Hope this helps.

What do you mean by "Try printing...?" This is an existing doc that was made up of 7 Word files that were converted to Acrobat (6.0) using default settings in the conversion that comers with Word, merged into one pdf document, and now I am trying to put a change into it for the next revision of the document and some of the pages have this error message come up. I've tried replacing a page at a time and everything is fine until I come to certain page and then there is nothing I can do with it. I tried going back and redoing the conversion on the replacement word doc containig the offending page, and then replaceing the page into the main pdf and that didn't work. I tried copying the whole file to a new name, that didn't work. If I'm looking at only being able to fix this by redoing the entire 300+ page pdf, that is no help at all. These are straight text pages I'm having problems with, nothing fancy like graphics or pictures, just docs formatted wioth Word styles thru 5 heading levels and lots of hyperlinks, which of course I have to completely redo each time anyway because Adobe doesn't recognize my bookmarks outside of heading levels. This is nuts!
