Can anyone please help?
I am creating a form with text boxes with the "scroll long text" in properties check. OK, the text scrolls and the scroll bar appears, that is fine, but when I print the form the text that is hidden will not print on paper. Any suggestions on how to make ALL the text print that has been entered into the box?
Thanks,

Tommy

It may sound an easy question, but I don't think it has an answer
you'd like.

Yes you are right, Adobe does not make things that simple. What good is a scrolling text box if it does not allow you to print all the text in it. I guess I will have to make the boxes bigger and figure out how to create a template and have it programmatic ally make another page on the fly.... But I have got that far yet. I manual is not to clear on that or I'm just to thick headed to figure it out.

Thanks,
Tommy

One thing to beware of is that templates do not work in the free
Reader.

Will the information entered into the (filled out by a Pro or Standard) template PDF show up when opened by a Reader user?

Reader cannot process a template FDF.

If the template FDF has been merged with a PDF and saved by someone
with full Acrobat, Reader will process it normally.

I too want to be able to print all the text from a text field with scroll bars. I am very disappointed to learn that this can't be done (or at least not easily).

On-line forms need this functionality! It's such a shame as I would love to create my form using Acrobat - back to Word then I guess!
