Hi,

I have placed a .joboptions file in the Settings directory but Acrobat
doesn't see the file.
Why ?

I'm using Acrobat X Pro on Windows 7 Home edition.

Best regards,
Jean-Luc

The joboptions file may not be compatible with Acrobat. Try importing
it into Distiller and see if that works instead. From what app are you
trying to print to PDF?

Distiller is now part of Acrobat 10. I think Distiller was changed in
version 6 (year 2003).

I'm working with Word 2007 on a book which must be published by a printer.
The printer has sent me this file in order to create a PDF compatible with
his professional material.
I have placed this file in the Settings directory of Acrobat 7 on another
computer running XP and I see this choice/option when I want to create the
PDF. There are multiple choices : standard, etc. and this joboption file is
visible there as an option between the other options.
When I place the same file in the Settings directory of Acrobat 10 Pro on my
computer, I don't see the option.

Here, in a zip, is the joboption file :

Sorry for my English : I'm French speaking...

Best regards,
