Where did you start? Are you getting this as a result of processing by the Adobe PDF printer or PDF Maker, or are you using some other method of generating a PS file?

I was trying to create a PDF from PageMaker 6.5 - I deleted Acrobat and re-installed but I still get this message a lot of the time. It says the process was flushed and no PDF was created - see log file.

What does the log file say?

This is a curious message, usually coming from trying to distill a
Word document. Is there any more to the log - source and destination
files, for instance?

Aandi is pretty good at reading these logs. In the meantime, you might want to print parts of the document to see if you can isolate what part(s) or the document are causing problems. That might help isolate the issues.

In the document I had 2 TIFF's - 1 that was a scan of a logo and the other was type done in illustrator and saved as a TIFF. The file was made into a PDF when I deleted the scanned logo. The file still had the other TIFF.

Thanks for the help

The error from the original post seem to indicate a problem with an image in the source file.

The second error as Aandi mentions seems to be a completely different error. (caused by distilling a word file instead of a Postscriipt file)

I rescanned the second logo and saved it as a bitmap TIFF and now the file distilled as usual??? Must have been the way I scanned the logo as a grayscale was the problem for Acrobat.

Thanks
Greg
