I have Acrobat XI. I have over 150 individual pdfs that I want to
print double-sided. I would like the first page of the second and
succeeding file to start on the front side of the first sheet for
each file.
Mathematically: If I combine the pdfs into a single file, and if file
n has an even number of pages, it will end printing on the back of the
last sheet. File n+1 will start on the front of the next sheet.
However, if file n has an odd number pages, the last printed page will
be front side (side one) and file n+1 will begin on the back of the
sheet.
Thus, if file n has two pages, the printing will be:
Sheet 1 - sides one and two are both printed on the same sheet and
file n+1 will begin on side one of the next sheet.
If file n has one page, the printing will be:
Sheet 1 - side one of sheet one is printed and file n+1 will begin on
sheet one side two.
The only way I can see to do this is to either manually insert a blank
page to the end of a file with an odd number of pages, and then
combine all files into a single pdf and print. Or, print each file
individually.
Is there any way to automate this process?
